Position Description

Location: Montgomery County, MD is adjacent to Washington, DC, 25 minutes to historic Annapolis and 45 minutes to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Close proximity to Northern Virginia as well.

Facility: Health system is a not-for-profit organization which employs more than 6,200 people and provides healthcare for more than 400,000 individuals in the community each year. Three urgent care centers provide immediate care covering Montgomery and western Prince George’s county, with a fourth center opening in August.

Opportunity: Opening is for a Board certified Nurse Practitioner to work in an employed, full time Urgent Care setting. Minimum of one year experience in an Urgent care setting and comfort seeing a full patient range is needed, as is being able to read plain film X-rays and EXG. Preferred but not required are having DOT certification and/or Spanish language fluency. Experience needed suturing, treating fractures, I&D abscesses, etc. Schedule is three 12 hour shifts per week with 2 shifts being on weekends per month. Day and nights shifts are available, with nights receiving a pay differential.

** Options for PRN 12 hour shifts are also available.
