SB411 / HB1494 – MAAPC still working for you!
Posted over 9 years ago by Elaine Crain
Lorraine Diana and Elaine Crain attended Nurses Night in Annapolis last Monday with an impressive array of Bowie State University FNP students. As we made the rounds we asked our Senators and Delegates to support SB411/HB1494 with amendments.
Lorraine Diana wrote the amendments to include nurse practitioners in the bill and we are thrilled to say they have been accepted.
See below for a brief summary and for more information, go to our legislative website – APRNpractice.org - to find out how to navigate the Annapolis General Assembly, look up the process of the bills and find out who your representatives are in Annapolis.
Please feel free to contact your Senators and Delegates and encourage them to support the bills with amendments!
And, as always, we encourage you to join us to keep APRN autonomy in Maryland.
Dr. Elaine Crain, CNP
MAAPC Communications Chair
