The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) invites you to attend a virtual learning session on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. The telehealth webinar series hosted by MHCC provides learning opportunities regarding the selection, adoption, and use of telehealth.

About the Presentations
Navigating the legal and administrative requirements around telehealth can be daunting for practices. The presenters will highlight key compliance and reimbursement requirements that all practices considering telehealth should know. After the presentation, participants should be able to:
- Describe key federal telehealth laws and state requirements;
- Explain what practice standards physicians must implement when providing telehealth services;
- Identify best practices for ensuring compliance with remote prescribing rules;
- Describe the types of providers that are able to receive Medicaid reimbursement for services provided via telehealth; and
- Assess what key requirements must be in place for Medicare reimbursement of services provided via telehealth and remote patient monitoring.
