Dear Colleagues,

The State of Maryland and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the Total Cost of Care Model and the Maryland Primary Care Program, which will start in 2019. CMS and the State will launch the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) in January 2019. We expect that the Request for Applications (RFA) for this program will be posted by CMS in early June 2018. In anticipation of this release, the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) will be holding a general update meeting for organizations interested in learning more about the program, with a particular emphasis on practices interested in participating in MDPCP. MDH will provide an update on the program design and timeline.
