MNA is looking for a nurse to testify against SB 195– Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.  The bill would make it more likely that providers be investigated, even if prescribing in the best interest of their patients.

We are looking for an APRN with prescriptive authority OR an RN who can speak to the issue of patients not being able to get adequate treatment for pain.

The hearing is this Thursday, 2/14.  And the person should be available from 1-5.

You will NOT be alone, and you don’t need prior experience to speak out for our profession. Robyn Elliott, MNA’s Lobbyist is great at prepping nurses to testify and our legislators love to hear from the most trusted profession in America

Please email Lorraine or me at themaapc@gmail.com and/or Jennifer Arigo, MNA’s Executive Director at jarigo@marylandrn.org

Thank you for your support!
