Dr. Kapustin served as senior clinical science liaison in diabetes for AstraZeneca for past 4 years. She previously held position as professor and assistant dean for the master’s and DNP programs at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, maintaining a faculty practice as an NP at the University of MD Diabetes Center in Baltimore as well as many years of service in primary care as an NP prior to academe. Board certified as an adult NP and in Advanced Diabetes Management, has published over 40 articles and 12 book chapters, mostly in the field of diabetes and is a requested presenter for regional and national conferences.
