Awail U Sadiq, MD is American Board of Internal Medicine certified general cardiologist. He is also board certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging, and vascular ultrasound.  He completed his training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha Nebraska. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital /Drexel University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Dr Sadiq has a special interest in treating patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and valvular heart disease. He is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and looks forward to putting down roots in Southern Maryland with his wife and son
