Dr. Banoub earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy and completed her first year of residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and second-year Infectious Diseases specialty residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

She is currently a Clinical Specialist in Infectious Diseases at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

In her role as a clinical specialist, she performs daily Antimicrobial Stewardship activities as well as provides pharmacy services on infectious diseases, consultative teams.
