Michael Armahizer is a Clinical Specialist in the Neurocritical Care Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He also serves as the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Coordinator at the University of Maryland Medical Center. In his capacity as the clinical pharmacist in the Neurocritical Care unit, he routinely works with the multidisciplinary care team managing patients presenting with acute ischemic stroke and has been involved in the development of guidelines and recommendations for the management of these patients within the heath system.
