The
2021 NCSBN APRN Roundtable is an opportunity for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) stakeholders to discuss common issues and concerns regarding APRNs.
This one-day conference, held virtually on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, is intended for professionals, educators, professional societies, credentialing agencies and others interested in the APRN landscape.
Objectives include:
- Evaluate the impact of the pandemic on nurse practitioner (NP) education in Canada.
- Identify the components of competency-based education as described in the re-envisioned Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials.
- Discuss the updates proposed by the National Task Force on Quality Nurse Practitioner Education to the Criteria for Evaluation of Nurse Practitioner Programs.
- Discuss how APRN education programs adapted to the pandemic.
