The Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians hosts Implicit Bias Training
Posted over 3 years ago by Elaine Crain

Implicit Bias Training
Beginning April 1, 2022, when you apply for a Maryland health occupation license or complete your renewal application, you will be required to attest that you have completed an approved implicit bias training course. This applies to all “health care professionals” (physician, nurse, dentist, social worker, psychologist, pharmacist, health educator, or other allied health professional). You are NOT required to submit a certificate of completion for this training to your Board and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are NOT required.
We are offering proof of registration and a certificate of completion in case you need verification of completion.
Any one of our presentations meets Maryland’s 2022 requirement for applicants registering for new or renewing health occupation licenses.
We encourage you to view them all, at your convenience, as they offer insightful and relevant information for today’s world.
