This fall MAAPC & CBANACNS will host our 1st in-person CE conference since the pandemic and will feature speakers, who are experts in their fields, presenting updates in pharmacology. New this year, as well as the in-person conference, we will be offering live streaming on Zoom.
The conference will take place at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold from 7:30-4:00

MAAPC also offers on-line presentations that meet the requirements for new and renewing licensure.
Beginning April 1, 2022, when you apply for a Maryland health occupation license or complete your renewal application, you will be required to attest that you have completed an approved implicit bias training course. This applies to all “health care professionals” (physician, nurse, dentist, social worker, psychologist, pharmacist, health educator, or other allied health professional). You are NOT required to submit a certificate of completion for this training to your Board and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are NOT required.
CDS Requirement: Safe Prescribing of Opioids
Presentations meet Maryland’s 2018 requirement for applicants registering for new or renewing CDS registration (Safe Prescribing of Opioids).
