Donald F D'Aquila, PharmD, BCGP, RRT, is the Chair of the Pain Stewardship initiative, University of Maryland Medical System


Dr D’Aquila is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the realm of pain and palliative medicine. He is board certified in geriatrics and has advanced training in addiction medicine. Prior to his pharmacy career he practiced as a registered reparatory therapist taking care of critically ill patient populations. He currently practices in the University of Maryland Medical System where he is Chair of system level pain stewardship and has a practice site at Shore Regional Health providing care to pain and palliative care patients. He also provides high level consulting services to hospice organizations assisting with all things related to pharmacology.
