Last month, the Improving Care and Access to Nurses Act (ICAN), H.R. 8812, was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives. Now, we are asking you to keep the momentum going by emailing your Representative urging them to cosponsor this bill.

The ICAN Act promotes patient access to health care services delivered by the provider of their choice by removing outdated Medicare and Medicaid barriers on advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). This legislation will shift our health care into the future and will benefit patients and providers. This is a common-sense bill that will streamline care for APRNs across the country.
