Call for Board of Nursing positions

The Governor's Appointments Office (GAO) is requesting MAAPC to send in nominations for the vacant Maryland Board of Nursing seats. Information is on the Board of Nursing website:  https://mbon.maryland.gov/Pages/board-member-vacancy.aspx, however, MBON staff are not able to respond to any questions related to the application or selection process.

GAO Request:

Based on Senate Bill 960, the terms of 7 members shall end on May 1, 2023, and the terms of 7 members shall end on November 1, 2023. According to statute, we need at least 5 names per vacancy. 12/14 seats that we appoint are nurses that need to come from lists that I have listed below.  Based on statute, that would be 60 names total.
