MAAPC now offering On-Demand Continuing Education

Posted 6 months ago by Elaine Crain

Colleagues:

The Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians (MAAPC) has a new logo, a new look to our website and, most exciting, we are now offering On-Demand Continuing Education programs directly on our website!

Take online CE courses and download your completed CE Certificates all from one location!  Here's a link to the CE programs we are offering: https://maapconline.enpnetwork.com/enduring-activities

As a MAAPC member, you will receive discounted and oftentimes free access to our CE programs.

Additionally, MAAPC's CE courses will be shared on ENP Network's national OnDemand directory, which will help MAAPC offer its programs to a larger APRN audience, helping us grow our membership and revenue to bolster our association's success and mission!

Likewise, you'll be able to take additional, quality CE courses offered by other fellow APRN associations and leading educational organizations on ENP Network!

Once you've completed your CE program and fulfilled the requirements, your certificate will be available to you immediately from the course posting and if you have completed an On Demand activity using our website you can access your CE Certificate anytime within the CONTENT Tab of the activity posting on our website. You can also locate this in your user profile under the tab > On Demand Activities > Completed Activities.

We are offering 4 on-line presentations that meet Maryland’s 2018 requirement for applicants registering for new or renewing CDS registration (Safe Prescribing of Opioids) and the DEA’s Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.

Pharmacology Update 2023: The webinar is still open for registration and contains 2 presentations that meet the requirements (Don D’Aquila, PharmD—How Much Morphine is That? Opioid Conversions & Calculations and Kelli Goldsborough, CRNP— Treating Pain in Opioid Addicted Patients) available until January 31, 2024.

MAAPC also offers on-line presentations that meet the Implicit Bias Training requirements for new and renewing licensure: Implicit Bias Training

And save the date for Pharmacology Update 2024. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Anne Arundel Community College. We will have speaker and CE information on our website as we finalize details.

Consider renewing your membership or becoming a member today!
