This was a big week in our efforts to make the APRN Compact a reality in Maryland.

Members of the Marylanders for Healthcare Workforce Access coalition proudly advocated for HB 425/SB 359 - Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) Compact during a recent Senate Finance Committee hearing.

Healthcare leaders, organizations, and advocates provided powerful testimonies, showing strong support for HB 425/SB 359. These collective efforts are crucial to expanding Maryland’s pool of APRNs who provide expert primary care, mental health, maternal care, and anesthesia services for patients.

But we can't stop there. We need to continue to raise our voices and make sure that our elected leaders know that passing HB 425/SB 359 is a top priority.
