These presentations fulfill Maryland's 2018 requirement for individuals applying for or renewing their Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
Key points:
- They also comply with the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.
- Participants will earn 6 Continuing Education (CE) hours in pharmacology, which can be used toward recertification.
As of April 1, 2022, all applicants for Maryland health occupation licenses, including renewals, must attest to completing an approved implicit bias training course.
Key points:
- Applies to all health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, dentists, social workers, psychologists, pharmacists, and more.
- No need to submit a certificate of completion to your licensing board.
- Completion of the training does not require Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
- MAAPC offers a certificate of completion if required.
