"Alopecia Disorders"

Kyleen Davis is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) with over 20 years of clinical experience. She specializes in comprehensive dermatologic care across the lifespan, with a particular focus on hair loss disorders, skin cancer, and dermoscopy.

For the past eight years, Kyleen has practiced exclusively in private dermatology settings in the Washington, D.C. metro area, where she has developed expertise in diagnosing and treating alopecia disorders. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as the Associate Editor for the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, where she has authored more than a dozen articles, including those on alopecia, and oversees a bi-monthly column on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. Her contributions to dermatology scholarship and mentorship were recently recognized by the International Academy of Nursing Editors (INANE) with the Mentoring Nurse Editors Award.

Kyleen’s dedication to advancing dermatologic education extends to her past roles as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's School of Nursing and Health Studies and as a co-investigator on clinical research at the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating magna cum laude from Georgetown University, and her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, San Francisco.
