MAAPC is pleased to welcome Jane Kapustin, PhD, CRNP, BC-ADM, FAANP, FAAN presenting Diabetes Pharmacology Update 2026. Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Dr. Kapustin has been working in the field of diabetes/endocrinology for over 30 years in a variety of settings ranging from an academic medical center to private practice. Previously, as the assistant dean for graduate programs at the University of MD School of Nursing, she also held a faculty practice at the Diabetes/Endocrine Center where she led numerous practice and research initiatives. She currently works as NP Director of Diabetes at a private practice in Maryland/Washington DC where she provides access to advanced technologies (CGM, insulin delivery devices, smart pens and insulin pumps) across three clinics. She has extensive experience in research and publishing and continues to teach nationally, regionally, and locally for numerous groups including AANP. She also teaches for an online transition to practice program for new NPs and PAs. Dr. Kapustin serves as co-chair for the AANP Endocrinology Community/SIG, served on the AANP Fall Conference Committee in 2024 & 2025, is board certified in advanced diabetes management, and is a fellow with AANP and AAN.
