We need your input!

The Maryland Action Coalition, is working to change scope of practice barriers that inhibit Advanced Practice Nurses from doing their jobs. Is your signature no tbeing recognized on any particular form a patient may bring you, or are you not authorized to perform certain care for patients? We know about Medicare laws with hospice and home health and DMEs, we know about the insurance companies not credentialing and only reimbursing at 75 or 85%. We want to hear about policies of other groups such as school systems or large employers or public or private agencies that are not accepting APN signatures or orders when you can provide the care according to your scope of practice.
