Annual Minutes and other information

Member Colleagues:

I have posted the minutes from the Annual meeting on our website along with some disturbing news.

Although MAAPC continues to work for the advanced practice clinicians in our state, we find ourselves in a budgetary crisis.  

We fund our activities through membership dues, conference fees and donations.  

As the Treasurer's report highlights, we have a significant deficit in our budget this year.  

We seek your assistance in increasing membership and attendance at our upcoming fall and spring conferences.  

Donations to help us meet our obligation to the lobbyist for the upcoming session would also be greatly appreciated.

 

Other News:

Our Fall Continuing Education Conference at The Newton White Mansion, Mitchellville (Bowie), Maryland is on Friday, November 16, 2012.

We have dinner meetings and half-day conferences coming up in the next few months and details are on the website.

Starting in September 2012, we will only be using our website, twitter (@TheMAAPC) and facebook to send out announcements to our members and supporters. 

 

To all our new members that joined during the Spring conference – welcome!

We do not issues membership cards, but if you need documentation, please let me know at TheMAAPC@gmail.com, and I will send you a confirmatory email. I will be happy to do this for any returning members who need confirmation.
