We had a great night last night in Annapolis despite the storm. There were quite a few nurses and nurse practitioners visiting their legislators. Robin Elliott, MNAs lobbyist gave a fabulous presentation on how to approach legislators and on our bill!

It has passed the first reading in the House and should be read today in the Senate.

All the documents have been updated on the website and are ready for use. Right now we need letters from physicians and signatures from people. On the APRNPractice.org website, go to Resources and then Educating the public. At the bottom of the page, you can download a sample support letter and a signature sheet.

We should have hearings soon and will keep you posted.
