Colleagues:
Sonia Pak was a nurse who served her country as a combat medic in the Army and Air Force Reserves until 2002 and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. She earned her bachelor and master degrees in nursing at Bowie State and became a Family Nurse Practitioner before she lost her battle with breast cancer last year.
She was our friend; she gifted us with her contagious smile and unshakable positive attitude; we will honor her and all those who struggle with breast cancer at our April Conference.
Please take a moment to visit our website, register for the April Conference, and consider joining MAAPC to continue improving both Nurse Practitioner practice and that of our fellow Advanced Practice Clinicians.
Don't forget to send letters, email or call your Senators and Delegates to vote YES for SB723 / HB999, and join us as we lead the way to eliminate the Attestation in 2015! For more information go to APRNPractice.org
